Meet your English teacher Ellen H!

Hi! Welcome to Novakid! I am Ellen. I have been an online ESL teacher since 2017, and I also have many years of traditional classroom experience. My goal for every class is to help students learn proper pronunciation, develop excellent conversation skills, and grow in their vocabulary knowledge. I truly love teaching phonics and grammar. I am passionate about developing relationships with my students and helping them grow in their confidence to speak more. Learning English takes courage, and I love to cheer my students to success. I use TPR, props and singing with younger students. With older and more advanced students, I encourage them to learn more complex sentence structures and more advanced vocabulary. My Superpower is that I can play piano and I love dancing! I hope to help my students love learning English!
